The upward movement followed the company’s disclosure that it became the inaugural neocloud operator to integrate Nvidia’s Vera Rubin NVL72 system into a production AI cloud environment.

Nvidia’s Vera Rubin NVL72 represents the company’s newest rack-level design, integrating 72 Rubin graphics processing units and 36 Vera central processing units into a unified infrastructure. This configuration targets large-scale artificial intelligence training operations and inference applications.

CoreWeave’s primary neocloud competitors, Nebius and IREN Limited, have yet to implement this technology. Nebius shares have climbed approximately 155% year-to-date, while CoreWeave has posted a 15% increase since the beginning of January.
Revenue Momentum Continues Despite Expanding Losses
For the second quarter of 2026, CoreWeave disclosed revenue totaling $2.58 billion, representing a 112% year-over-year expansion. The organization exceeded analyst earnings projections, posting a deficit of $1.14 per share versus the consensus expectation of $1.52.
Nevertheless, the adjusted net deficit per share of $1.03 expanded 282% compared to the $0.27 loss documented during the corresponding period last year. The enterprise maintains a debt-to-equity proportion of 5.53 and a negative net margin of 25.41%, operating without profitability.

Blockfusion Agreement Secures Extended Infrastructure Capacity
Blockfusion executed a 15-year primary lease arrangement with CoreWeave for capacity at its Niagara Falls, New York AI facility. The contract encompasses an expansion provision, providing CoreWeave with predictability regarding future infrastructure availability.
Earlier in the month, CoreWeave unveiled Physical AI Field Engineering, positioning its technical experts directly within customer organizations to assist with designing, training, and implementing AI solutions across industries including autonomous transportation, robotics, and aerospace.
On the institutional investment front, Alyeska Investment Group expanded its CoreWeave holdings by 55.7% during Q2, while Deutsche Bank amplified its position by more than 22,000%.
Wells Fargo elevated its price objective on CRWV from $155 to $160 with an Overweight designation. Cantor Fitzgerald maintains a $176 projection. Bernstein, conversely, reaffirmed its Sell stance following statements from Anthropic and OpenAI leadership suggesting that AI capability advancement may decelerate.
The consensus among 34 Wall Street analysts remains at “Moderate Buy” with an average price objective of $142.31. Company insiders divested over 6.7 million shares valued at $604 million during the previous 90 days, conducted through pre-established 10b5-1 trading arrangements.
