Corrections Policy
We correct errors promptly and openly. If you think something we published is wrong, please tell us.
How to report an error
Email hello@blockonomi.com with the link to the article, what you believe is wrong, and a source for the correct information if you have one. We read every report.
What happens next
- An editor reviews the report, normally within [one working day].
- If the article is wrong, we correct it as soon as possible.
- If the error is significant, we add a note at the end of the article saying what was changed and when, for example: “Correction, 6 November 2026: An earlier version of this article gave the wrong figure for the amount stolen. It was $12 million, not $21 million.”
- We reply to let you know what we decided.
What counts as a correction
- Corrections fix factual errors: wrong names, figures, dates, quotes or claims. These are always noted on the article.
- Updates add new information as a story develops. These are marked “Updated” with the date.
- Minor fixes to spelling, grammar or formatting are made without a note.
We do not remove articles because someone dislikes the coverage. We will consider removing or anonymising content in exceptional cases, such as a risk to someone’s safety, or where the law requires it.
Right of reply
If you or your company is the subject of a story and you want to respond, email us. Where a response adds something material, we will include it in the article.
