The milestone pricing follows an exceptional quarterly performance. The company delivered second-quarter earnings of $2.22 per share, surpassing Street expectations by $0.45. Topline revenues reached $1.29 billion, representing a 32.5% year-over-year increase and exceeding the $1.23 billion consensus forecast.
This performance marks a dramatic improvement from the $0.86 EPS reported in the corresponding period last year, a surge that resonated strongly across the investment community.
Looking ahead to the full fiscal year, Five Below issued forward guidance projecting earnings between $8.65 and $9.05 per share. Wall Street analysts are currently forecasting $9.08 EPS for fiscal 2026.
According to regulatory 13F filings, BlackRock established a position of 5.37 million shares during the second quarter, representing an investment of approximately $965 million. This acquisition grants the world’s largest asset manager a 9.71% ownership stake in the retailer.
