Popular adult content creator and Twitch streamer Kaitlyn Siragusa, known online as “Amouranth,” reportedly fought off armed robbers who broke into her home demanding access to her cryptocurrency fortune.
The incident took place on Sunday, March 2, when multiple armed individuals invaded her residence. Siragusa, 31, claims the attackers dragged her from her bed and subjected her to physical violence.

The Houston native had previously displayed her substantial cryptocurrency wealth online. In November, she shared screenshots of her Coinbase account showing approximately $20 million in Bitcoin, asking followers whether she should “sell or hold my BTC.”
The attackers reportedly pistol-whipped Siragusa and demanded she log into her digital wallet using one of their phones. The beating was severe, according to her account of the events.
“The pummelling felt like it would never end, and I protected my head by putting my arms up like I learnt how to do in boxing,” she wrote. “Blood was streaming down my head, and my hands were beaten brown.”
During the confrontation, Siragusa managed to turn the tables on her attackers. She claims to have shot one of the robbers in self-defense.
“I believe I shot one of them,” she posted. “He screams, ‘I got shot, I got shot, after. I’m not supposed to post the scene itself, nor the casing, which is now evidence.”
Following the violent encounter, Siragusa stated she was “covered in blood” but clarified that “only some of it is mine.” She confirmed she was safe after the ordeal.
8th Most Watched Female Streamer
Siragusa has a large online following across multiple platforms. She ranks as the eighth most-watched female streamer in 2024, accumulating 14.63 million watched hours according to streamcharts.com.
Beyond her online presence, Siragusa has diversified her income through various investments. Reports indicate she owns several 7-Eleven gas stations in addition to her digital assets.
The alleged robbers came prepared for the heist. According to Siragusa’s posts, “They brought duct tape and masks and were armed with handguns,” suggesting a planned operation rather than a random break-in.
Law enforcement is currently investigating the incident. Authorities have not yet released official statements regarding arrests or the condition of the alleged wounded robber.
The targeting of cryptocurrency holders for physical robbery has become an emerging concern in the security space. Unlike traditional bank accounts, crypto assets can be transferred instantly and with limited recourse for recovery once moved.
Some social media users have expressed skepticism about the incident, suggesting it might be staged for publicity. These claims remain unsubstantiated as the investigation continues.
The attack highlights potential risks of publicly displaying cryptocurrency wealth online. Security experts regularly advise against revealing specific holdings or account balances on social media platforms.
