TLDR
- TRX traded near $0.335 on October 5 after spending most of September between $0.325 and $0.345.
- TRON holds about $95.8 billion in stablecoins, while circulating TRX is worth about $31.8 billion.
- Canary’s TRXS fund had 2.03 million shares outstanding on October 2, the same as on September 15.
- A move to $0.38–$0.40 would need a 13% to 19% gain, and a drop to $0.29–$0.31 would mean a 7% to 13% fall.
- September CPI is due October 14, the Fed meets October 27–28, and PCE inflation data comes October 29.
TRON’s TRX token traded near $0.335 on October 5. Daily closes spent much of September between about $0.325 and $0.345, which kept the price in a tight range.
Data from CoinGecko put the value of circulating TRX at roughly $31.8 billion. DeFiLlama showed about $95.8 billion in stablecoins on the TRON network.
Those two numbers measure different things. The stablecoin figure counts tokens issued on the chain, not money spent buying TRX.
TRON is a major network for USDT transfers. A second-quarter report put USDT transfer value at $2.1 trillion for that quarter.
Transfer totals count each time a dollar moves, not new money entering the chain. A dollar of USDT moved does not require a dollar of TRX to be bought.
Users can stake TRX to get network resources called Energy and Bandwidth, or they can burn tokens to pay fees. Some wallets now let users pay fees in USDT.
ETF Shares Have Barely Moved
The Canary Staked TRX ETF began trading under the ticker TRXS on September 9. The fund aims to track TRX and earn staking rewards.
Shares outstanding stood at 2.01 million at launch and 2.03 million on September 15. The count stayed at 2.03 million on every reported day through October 2.
Net assets were about $50.23 million on October 2, down slightly from $50.26 million on September 16. That equals about 0.158% of TRX’s market value.
TRON DAO marked the launch with a Cboe closing bell event on September 29. A rise in shares outstanding would show new demand for the fund.
TRONSCAN data shows TRX supply grew at an average yearly rate of 0.31% from August 30, 2025, to October 3, 2026. Daily changes depend on how many tokens are created and how many are burned.
On September 9, about 3.91 million TRX were generated and 2.58 million were burned. That left a net increase of about 1.33 million tokens for the day.
Price Levels in Focus
A move to $0.38 would need a 13.4% gain from $0.335. Reaching $0.40 would need a 19.4% rise and would value circulating TRX near $38 billion.

A lasting break above $0.35 with higher trading volume would mark a move out of the recent range. A close below $0.32 after a breakout attempt would undo that path.
On the downside, $0.31 sits 7.5% below the current price and $0.29 is 13.4% lower. That case would require a lasting drop below the $0.32 to $0.325 area.
An October close between $0.32 and $0.36 would mean the token keeps trading in a narrow band.
Seven TRON addresses were recently sanctioned in a U.S. action. The designation applies to those addresses, not to the whole network or to TRX trading.
Macro data is also on the calendar. September CPI is due October 14, the Federal Reserve meets October 27 and 28, and PCE inflation data follows on October 29.
