Shares of Vivakor (VIVK) surged nearly 187% during Monday’s trading session following the Dallas-based firm’s disclosure of four significant crude oil marketing contracts executed through its Vivakor Supply & Trading, LLC division.
These newly established arrangements are projected to produce roughly $289 million in annual commercial volume, calculated using prevailing market valuations. The monthly commercial throughput from these contracts is anticipated to reach approximately $24.1 million.
The company executed the four agreements with a pair of commercial partners. Operations begin August 1, 2026, extending through July 31, 2027, featuring automatic month-to-month continuation clauses beyond the initial term.
These contracts will expand Vivakor’s monthly marketed crude oil volumes to 300,000 barrels, translating to 3.6 million barrels on an annual basis.
The commercial activity will span both Cushing and Midland crude oil markets, with Enterprise Cushing and Enterprise Midland serving as designated trading hubs.
Expanding Market Presence
Including these four recently announced agreements, Vivakor reports that its cumulative recurring commercial programs now account for approximately $709 million in yearly commercial throughput.
This expansion also elevates the company’s total annual crude oil marketing volumes to approximately 8.1 million barrels, utilizing current market pricing models.
The firm emphasized an important clarification regarding its revenue structure in commodity marketing operations. Functioning as a middleman within the crude oil distribution network, Vivakor Supply & Trading captures only a modest percentage of overall contract values as gross margin.
This margin fluctuates based on prevailing market dynamics, commodity valuations, deal structures, and actual delivered quantities.
This represents a critical distinction — the $289 million and $709 million values indicate total commercial throughput handled by the operation, not net income or profitability.
