TLDR
- Binance launched HYPE spot trading on September 24 with three trading pairs.
- Hyperliquid gained wider market access through HYPE/USDT, HYPE/USDC, and HYPE/TRY.
- Binance applied its Seed Tag to HYPE due to higher volatility and risk.
- Trading bots and spot copy trading will follow the HYPE listing.
- The listing gives HYPE another major spot venue as Hyperliquid expands.
Binance has listed Hyperliquid’s HYPE token for spot trading, adding a new major global spot venue for the asset. Trading opened on September 24 at 11:00 UTC through HYPE/USDT, HYPE/USDC, and HYPE/TRY. The exchange also placed its Seed Tag on HYPE because newer tokens can carry higher volatility and risk.
Users could deposit HYPE before trading started, while Binance set the listing fee at zero BNB. The exchange plans to open withdrawals on September 25 at 11:00 UTC. The HYPE/TRY pair remains limited to users with verified Binance TR accounts.
New Trading Tools Follow HYPE Listing
Binance launched spot algorithmic orders with the new pairs and plans to add trading bots and spot copy trading within 24 hours. The tools place HYPE inside Binance’s wider trading system. The listing also follows a week in which HYPE reached a record high after Hyperliquid added borrowing functions.
The token reached $95.17 on September 21 as the platform continued adding services around trading and credit. The move came during a busy period as Hyperliquid expanded its product range alongside rising activity.
Seed Tag Adds Clear Risk Warning
Binance requires users who trade Seed Tag assets to complete a risk-awareness quiz every 90 days and accept its terms. The exchange also displays a warning banner on relevant trading pages. These steps tell users that HYPE may move more sharply than older assets.
Hyperliquid recently launched stablecoin borrowing on HyperCore. Users can post HYPE or Bitcoin as collateral and borrow USDC or USDT. Reported borrowing reached about $269 million on the first day, adding another service to the network.
Hyperliquid Access Continues to Grow
The Binance listing broadens spot access to HYPE through two major stablecoin pairs and a TRY market for eligible users. It also gives Hyperliquid another large exchange connection while its onchain trading platform continues to build activity across perpetual futures and related products.
Separately, Payward plans Hyperliquid markets for US traders through a regulated structure, subject to approval. The plan centers on HIP-3 perpetual markets and would extend access through regulated venues if authorities clear the launch.
The new spot listing does not ensure any price direction for HYPE. It gives the token another trading venue, while Binance’s Seed Tag keeps the exchange’s risk warning visible as access expands.
