Binance Coin was changing hands near $761 on September 23, based on CoinGecko metrics. Despite a 3.3% daily decline, the token maintained a solid 7.4% gain across the preceding seven-day period.

Daily trading activity reached approximately $1.34 billion in volume. The price decline coincided with Binance’s announcement regarding significant modifications to its user account infrastructure.
During earlier trading hours, Binance Coin had approached the psychological $800 threshold. The asset peaked at $799.67 before encountering selling pressure that drove prices back to approximately $782.
While this retreat marks a setback, it doesn’t negate BNB’s impressive performance in recent sessions. Market participants are now focused on whether support will hold at current levels before another attempt at the $800 barrier.
Exchange Initiates Account Restructuring Process
Binance revealed plans to transfer cryptocurrency holdings from Funding Accounts to Spot Accounts starting September 29. The transition period will extend through January 2027.
Following completion of the migration, the Funding Account designation will be replaced with Stocks Account. This newly named account will exclusively handle settlements for equity and stock-options transactions.
Binance Coin joins five other approved assets for stock and options settlements on the platform. The complete list includes USD, USDC, USDT, USD1, and U.
Users have the option to utilize a newly introduced One-Click Migration feature for immediate transfers. Those who prefer not to act will have their holdings automatically migrated when January 2027 arrives.
Binance emphasized that account balances will remain unchanged throughout the migration process. Previously recorded transactions will continue to display their original account classifications.
The platform’s securities offering enables qualified users beyond U.S. borders to access over 7,000 American-listed equities and exchange-traded funds. Minimum fractional investments begin at just $5.
Starting September 1, Binance introduced physically settled options contracts on certain U.S. stocks and ETFs. When exercised, these contracts convert to actual shares maintained through Alpaca Securities.
Critical Support and Resistance Zones
The accumulation indicator for BNB, which measures demand versus supply dynamics, continues showing strength. However, it has moderated somewhat following the token’s recent peak.
Market observers identify the $750 to $760 zone as initial support. This range previously attracted significant buying interest during the recent upward movement.
Trading analyst Wealthmanager shared on X that Binance Coin appears positioned for a retest following its climb toward $806. The analyst highlighted the $739 to $746 range as critical, noting that stability in this zone could provide another favorable entry opportunity ahead of a potential continuation higher.
Beneath that level, the $720 to $725 region serves as secondary support. The $700 threshold, which previously acted as resistance, would become increasingly significant if downward pressure intensifies.
On September 22, Binance also announced a $100 million investment in Circle, coupled with a five-year partnership agreement regarding USDC integration across its ecosystem. USDC features among the designated assets for upcoming stock settlement functionality.
Binance Coin most recently traded around $761, with market attention now directed toward a potential retest of the $800 resistance level.
