Cirus Foundation, a blockchain-based data ownership initiative, has partnered with Unizen’s ZenX. The project is set to be the first to work with the CeDeFi incubator as they collaborate to create an “ownership economy.”
Please Note: This is a Press Release
ZenX will provide Cirus with important support and opportunities for development. By counting on Unizen’s Compliant Liquidity Provider services, it will help Cirus benefit from a unified liquidity pool for its token allocation. On the other hand, ZenX will also assure the project’s compliance with AML and KYC regulations. CeDeFi incubators retain DeFi’s efficiencies and flexibilities while still being able to cooperate with institutions and organizations.
“We couldn’t think of a better approach to launching Cirus than by working with ZenX and its CeDeFi solutions. As the blockchain space continues to evolve, we need to take advantage of all the benefits of DeFi while maintaining a balance with traditional institutions. At Cirus, we’re confident that these are the best steps to take in order to introduce an ownership economy,” said Cirus Co-founder Daniel Bland.
The incubator has focused on Cirus for its capabilities as a platform for data ownership, a sector that is set to grow exponentially as more than 38 billion data-producing devices are expected to be online by 2025. Moreover, ZenX believes that the industry is heading in the direction of monetizing ownership rights, especially as they relate to personal data. Besides allowing for the full ownership of their data, Cirus gives users a direct gateway into the digital era.
When the data trail is considered to have intrinsic financial worth, it can be used as an asset and included in financial blockchain systems such as DeFi. This data could be considered as an owned asset, potentially providing a base for credit acquisition, lending opportunities and interest bearing products.
“Working with ZenX to provide compliance and a bridge between data and CeDefi for the emerging world, is a massive opportunity that has yet to be untapped. This may actually be the bridge for the emerging world and financial inclusion,” said Cirus Co-founder Michael Luckhoo.
Cirus and ZenX have collaborated on a platform that allows users to take control of their largest digital asset and disintermediates the relationship between them and its potential buyers. Together, they share the goal of delivering tangible value to users and introducing new technologies to everyday users, all while maintaining compliance with regulations.
