Blockonomi is proud to announce that we are media sponsors for the CoinFest UK 2018 event which is taking place in our home-town of Manchester from April 5th – April 7th 2018. The event is taking place at the Manchester Conference Centre on Sackville Street, Manchester, M1 3BB.
CoinFest is a Worldwide conference started back in 2013 by Andrew Wagner at a Waves Coffee House in Vancouver “as a way to incentivize cryptocurrency acceptance while educating the public about its importance and use. Its popular success prompted the Bitcoiniacs to place the world’s first Bitcoin ATM there, which we again celebrated.”
CoinFest was brought to the UK by Adam Rizvi of the CryptoBatesGroup in 2016 where the event attracted over 200 people. In 2017 the event grew to a 3 day event which hosted 5 workshops, 19 speakers and 11 exhibitions and had visitors from around the world.
2018 looks to be even bigger with a packed line-up of talks, exhibitors, music, art and workshops.

Activities
There will be a range of activities on offer at the event including A crypto-themed cash grabber with custom Bitcoin notes:- get the highest score of the day and win a prize. A crypto-themed photo booth, a crypto raffle (Linked to a unique ID on your CoinFestUK ticket) and some other surprise activities.
