Blockchain platform Dvision Network is set to release five characters from its limited-edition NFTs collection. This is a significant development for the blockchain protocol as it looks to capitalize on the growing popularity of NFTs in the cryptocurrency industry.
Please Note: This is a Press Release
Dvision Network made this announcement on March 15 and highlighted the purpose of the early release of the anticipated NFT collection. According to Dvision Network, the release is part of its roadmap towards its NFT marketplace launch later in the year.
The five pre-released NFT characters are based on the avatar of popular crypto influencers in the blockchain industry. The NFTs are unique and scarce since they are obtained from the limited edition series developed by Dvision Network.
Dvision Network further revealed that NFTs will be listed on popular NFT Marketplace OpenSea and auctioned for sale. Investors who purchase any of the five characters will receive exclusive rights to acquire more NFts characters from the limited edition series once fully listed at the end of the month.
The NFTs can also be used within the Dvision ecosystem to access different features and be traded on primary and secondary markets. Other perks include rewards in the form of DVI tokens to NFT buyers.
Having remained in the shadows for years, non-fungible tokens (NFTs) now occupy a full place in the cryptocurrency ecosystem. Many artists have in recent months taken advantage of the hype in the sector to sell works of art and music via NFTs.
Besides, projects closely linked to NFTs such as Chiliz or Enjin are currently following the path of decentralized finance in 2020.It is undeniable that Dvision Network wants to ride the NFT wave, and take advantage of the craze around this growing sector.
Eom, Jung-hyun, CEO of Dvision Network seems to suggest so with his statements on the latest developments. “We intend to supply these sort of unique NFT items to the prospective Dvision Network users in order add the fun elements to their gamified metaverse ecosystem experience, and to let them play joyfully, surfing across the virtual reality and open world via the usage of the celebrity characters,” he stated.
Bithumb set to list DVI/KRW trading pairs
Dvision Network also revealed that Bithimb, the largest crypto exchange in South Korea, will add a new trading pair for its native token DVI. It should be recalled that in Feburary, Bithumb listed DVI on its platform for the first time with the DVI/BTC pair.
This latest development comes after Dvision Network won the recent BTC Open competition hosted by the Korean exchange. The competition was opened to existing projects that were listed in the BTC markets of the exchange with the reward of listing the winning project in its Korean Won (KRW) trading market.
Participating projects were evaluated based on trading volume, transaction activities, the attractiveness investment, user participation and digital asset soundness. Dvision Network led the competition in the third round of the “BTC Open” and is guaranteed the listing into the KRW market in three months.
This is a major milestone for the VR blockchain project as it enables Koreans to trade directly using the fiat currency Korean Won (KRW). Also, the DVI team is working on its existing roadmap as it looks to build essential products that are critical to its ecosystem.
