Litecoin (LTC) posted one of the larger price gains among the top 20 crypto assets by market cap over the past 24 hours. The token rose 6.04% in that period.
On the weekly chart, LTC is up 29.2%. The move pushed the price past a key resistance level at $60.
The gains came even as Bitcoin (BTC) pulled back. BTC dropped from $87,300 to $82,900 by Thursday, September 24.
Many altcoins, including Litecoin, posted double-digit returns over the past week. Most of them were affected by Bitcoin’s decline.
Weekly Chart Shows a Trend Shift
A Fixed Range Volume Profile, drawn from January’s high to the present, places the value area high at $60.50. This level lines up with a key swing point on the chart.
LTC also moved past the $60.61 swing high set in May. This flipped the weekly market structure in favor of buyers.

The Awesome Oscillator on the weekly chart made a bullish crossover above the zero line. It is the first time the indicator has shown positive readings on this timeframe since October 2025.
The Directional Movement Index also points to a strong uptrend in progress on the weekly timeframe.
Not every signal is positive, though. The On-Balance Volume indicator on the weekly chart remains near multi-month lows that date back to March.
Weekly trading volume has not been strong despite the breakout. This could suggest weaker buyer strength behind the rally.
Even so, Litecoin keeps a bullish bias on higher timeframes. This is because of its move past the $60 level.
Daily Chart and Key Levels
The daily chart gives a more positive picture. The OBV on this timeframe has made new highs.
Other technical indicators on the daily chart also support a bullish view. The price structure remains firmly bullish.
Based on trends across both the daily and weekly charts, a pullback could offer a buying opportunity, according to the analysis.
Two demand zones stand out on the daily chart: $60 and $52.50. Swing traders and investors may wait for a bullish reaction from these areas before opening long positions.
At the time of writing, LTC held its 6.04% daily gain and was trading above the $60 level it broke earlier in the week.
