Verizon Stock Gains With iPhone 18 Pro Launch
Verizon is offering switchers an iPhone 18 Pro through Simplicity Pro without a trade-in. Eligible customers can return the device and upgrade to a new iPhone each year. Verizon prices the offer at $80 monthly after Auto Pay and switcher discounts.
The carrier removes activation and upgrade fees for customers enrolled in Verizon Loyalty. Simplicity includes unlimited 5G Ultra Wideband data, 10GB hotspot access, and roaming in Canada and Mexico. The plan links mobile service with simpler pricing and annual device upgrades.
Meanwhile, Verizon is using the Apple launch to strengthen its premium wireless offers. The company combines device promotions with service plans designed around recurring upgrades and customer rewards. That approach gives Verizon another way to compete for new lines and retain existing subscribers.
Trade-In Offers Reach $1,200
Verizon is offering up to $1,200 off new iPhones through eligible myPlan trade-ins. New-line customers can receive the maximum discount, while eligible upgrades can qualify for up to $1,020. Verizon applies the savings through monthly credits over a 36-month device payment plan.
Eligible trade-ins include selected Apple, Google, Motorola, and Samsung phones under Verizon’s conditions. Customers must choose a qualifying plan and maintain eligible service during the credit period. Verizon Business separately offers iPhone 18 Pro discounts and port-in savings for qualifying customers.
The carrier also pairs eligible iPhones with Apple Watch Series 12 and iPad promotions. Customers must add service lines for those devices and use qualifying 36-month payment arrangements. Verizon offsets eligible device costs through monthly credits, subject to promotion terms.
Loyalty Program Supports Broader Apple Push
Verizon Loyalty gives enrolled postpaid customers access to waived activation and upgrade fees. The program also provides monthly Verizon Dollar rewards and recurring promotional experiences. Customers can use Verizon Dollars for devices, accessories, and selected partner rewards.
The promotions accompany Apple’s wider hardware lineup, including iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max. Verizon is also promoting iPhone Duo, Apple Watch Series 12, Apple Watch Ultra 4, and AirPods 5. The wider lineup expands Verizon’s device financing and service opportunities.
The iPhone 18 Pro features a 48-megapixel Fusion Main camera and Apple’s A20 Pro chip. The Pro Max model also adds increased battery capacity under Apple’s latest hardware refresh. Verizon is using the launch to support annual upgrades, loyalty enrollment, and longer customer relationships.
